The Silveri is located in Tung Chung, a town conveniently located right next to the airport on Lantau Island. The island is famous for its stunning landscapes and cultural landmarks. The most iconic attractions on the island are the Big Buddha statue, officially known as the Tian Tan Buddha, the charming fishing village of Tai O and of course Disneyland.
The Silveri is located on top of the Citygate Outlets, one of Hong Kong’s premier shopping destinations. It offers direct access to a wide array of high-end stores, lots of dining options, a bus terminal, the metro station and the Ngong Ping Cable Car, which will bring you straight to the Tian Tan Buddha while providing breathtaking views of Lantau Island.
We stayed in one of the classic rooms, which was quite spacious. The design of the room was sleek and minimalist, with natural materials and soft earthy tones creating a peaceful atmosphere. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows that offered panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and city, but the highlights were the Japanese toilet and the soft, fluffy bed. The hotel also has some great amenities, including a rooftop infinity pool and a well-equipped gym.
If you’re planning to explore Lantau Island, visit Disneyland or if you have to be at the airport really early and want to avoid the hassle of traveling out of the city, The Silveri is a great choice to stay the night.
