Naxian on the Beach

If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Naxos, we highly recommend you look into staying at Naxian on the Beach, the sister hotel of the well known Naxian Collection Villas. Situated just 30 feet from Plaka Beach, Naxian on the Beach offers the perfect bohemian beach vacation setting. Plaka beach is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Naxos, stretching almost 4 kilometers long. It’s known for its crystal clear blue waters and fine white sand. Along this stretch of beach, there are plenty of surf shops to rent all things related to water sports and also a couple of delicious authentic Greek restaurants. We personally loved Petrino Beach Restaurant and the handcrafted ice cream shop Mitatos next door!

If you are looking for a more intimate hospitality experience, this adult-only boutique hotel is perfect as it has only 10 suites. What makes this hotel so unique is each suite has uninhibited views of the Aegean Sea and a private terrace some of which have jacuzzis. One of the greatest perks of being a guest at Naxian on the Beach is the complimentary sunbeds right next to the water. From here the sunsets are incredible!

If you are like us you’ll agree, there’s nothing that goes better with relaxing on the beach than a good cocktail. Right next to the beach there is a full-service, open-air restaurant that is also associated with the hotel called Tortuga. The menu featured a great range of artisanal and delicious cocktails and fresh food options. The quality of the food is simply amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Even if you don’t get the chance to stay at Naxian on the Beach, be sure to stop by if you find yourself on Plaka Beach in Naxos!

We really loved every relaxing minute at Naxian on the Beach and we definitely recommend everyone to stay here because we definitely will when we return to this beautiful island.
